Time-Lapse Video Shows Girl Growing Up From a Baby to a Teenager. Father of the Year!

Dutch filmmaker Frans Hofmeester captured the growth of his every own daugther. He compiled an incredible time-lapse video that shows his daugther growing from a tiny baby well into her teenage years (14) in just over four minutes.

“I filmed Lotte every week from the moment she was born,’ Hofmeester explains on his website. ‘She was changing at such a rapid pace, that I felt the need to document the way she looked, to keep my memories intact.”

Hofmeester says that he kept certain factors constant, like the white background and the baby blanket. Sometimes, he says, his daughter wasn’t always an enthusiastic about his film project.

‘Sometimes they did not feel like it.’ (Says Lotte) Then I said “Just one minute. Tell me about your ball game, did you win?” That way I stalled them so I could complete the shot,’ he explains.

The result of his dedication to the project is a stunning memorial to his daughter’s first 14 years of life – which he posted on Youtube and currently has more than 160,000 views.

‘World’s toughest job interview’

They created a FAKE job, and posted it online and in the newspapers. These are real people thinking they are applying for a job, but through Skype. The requirements included a PhD in psychology or real-life equivalent, crisis management skills, the ability to manage a minimum of 10-15 projects at one time, and working from 135 to an unlimited number of hours per week. The person conducting the interviews is an actor, also not aware that the paid actor was talking to them from another room in the same center.

“One of our writers went home to Michigan to be with her family,” recalled Jon Ruby, vice president and creative director at Mullen. “She spent quite a bit of time with her brother and sister-in-law. She does not have kids, but they do. In watching them, she saw how they interacted with the kids. Her sister-in-law was on her feet 24/7 and never stopped working.

“When she came back, she said being a mom is really the world’s toughest job.”

Atkins Review!

I received my Atkins kit and it came with 3 advantage bars.

Peanut Butter Granola Bar – 210 calories
Triple Chocolate Bar – 160 calories
Caramel Chew Bar – 130 calories

They tasted great and had a lot of flavor. The best one for me was the “Triple Chocolate Bar”. The only problem was it is a lot of calories but they it does contains a lot of protein in them and its surprisingly low on carbs. Other than that I do recommend these bars.

Pros

Taste good
Truly low glycemic for most people
No sugar alcohols in many of the bars (check lables)
Locally available in many places
Come in many flavors and types

Cons

Very sweet
Very much a “processed food” with many ingredients

The kit also came with a carb counter booklet that lists so many different types of foods and tells you how many carbs it contains. It also tells you what types of foods to avoid if you are trying to lose weight. It also came with a 2-week meal planner that makes you lose 15lb if you are committed to losing weight! I’ve been on the diet for about a month and a half and I’ve lost about 12lbs. It’s an easy diet to follow, you don’t have to measure food, figure percentages or count calories you just avoid carbs mostly in the form of bread and sugar. I highly recommend that all serious dieters reread the Atkins Diet book and contact Atkins for any questions.While I am not an Atkins employee, I do have a lot of respect for this program.

Why Should I Believe The Bible?

What is the Bible? Most people would say its the Word of God or maybe just a book with ancient stories. Inside you discover many rules and guidelines: “Be honest, be kind, always tell the truth, listen well, keep your promises, say ‘please’ and ‘thank you,’ freely forgive, don’t covet your neighbor’s wife,” and that sort of thing. Initially you think, its a rule book. The Bible is NOT a rule book, its God’s love story & love letter. If your love sent you a letter describing the incredible sacrifices they made so you could be together again and in it they told you what you had to do in order to see them wouldn’t you follow what they said?

Some treat the Bible as though it were a book of rules, telling Christians how to live. But love doesn’t work that way. If you love Jesus, you don’t need the rules, and if you don’t love Jesus, the rules aren’t going to help. Love comes from the heart, not a book.
